As most of you know by now, Jason Statts and Dave Williams are two local musicians who were seriously wounded by gunfire this past weekend in Ardsley Park. It was not a robbery attempt, as nothing was taken. It was just an act of pure evil.

Two males approached them, asked if they “needed” drugs,” and when told no, accepted a few beers from Statts and Williams. They took the beers, walked off, then returned a few minutes later. One fired a single bullet, which went… More

Last night’s acoustic duo show featuring country legend Marty Stuart and Georgia-born Nashville superstar Travis Tritt was one of the most enjoyable C & W shows I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend.

Let’s End the War on Drugs

I’ve got a confession to make. It embarasses me to say this, but I might as well come clean.

I have never - never - tried drugs, not even marijuana. No, I’m not saying I never inhaled, I never even touched a joint. I’m not bragging, and if I could go back in time, I’d have a little more fun in life, and that includes a toke now and then. But since I never started back then, I see no reason to start now.
