  NY TImes archives now open

Tuesday, Sep 18th 7:41 am, 2007

This is pretty cool. The New York Times will open up it’s archives FOR FREE, back to 1987 and also from 1851 to 1922 (Some of the stuff from 1923 to 1986 will be free and some charged, due to copyright). A quick search found articles about the capture of Savannah, President Lincoln’s assassination and a story about the very real town of Deadwood. . Whether you love the paper or hate it, access to it’s archives is pretty sweet for your inner history buff.
