Chatham Area Transit has zero-fare ride options for voters on Primary Election Day

Catch a free ride to the polls with CAT on Tuesday and cast your vote!

Chatham Area Transit (CAT) will offer Zero-Fare rides today, to support voter participation on Primary Election Day in Chatham County. The initiative aims to remove transportation barriers and ensure that all residents have access to polling sites.

All CAT routes, including Fixed-Route and Paratransit services, will operate zero-fare from 5 am to 10 pm. Polling sites in Chatham County are open to voters Tuesday from 7 am to 7 pm.

The enhancement program is designed as a service to provide convenient, reliable transportation for voters throughout the county.

Residents can find more information about routes in their areas by clicking this link to view CAT's route schedules on their official website.
