Know Your Right to Read Banned Books Event

We have the right to learn — free from censorship and discrimination. Join the ACLU and ACLU of Georgia for a conversation about books that have been banned by local governments, featuring the author of banned book The ABCs of Queer History, Seema Yasmin and content creator Jameelah Jones. You’ll be able to highlight your favorite banned book, share space with other community members concerned with these issues, and enjoy fun surprises while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public.
